After tearing down the TH350 I wanted to do a 4l80e. I had a couple 4l80e transmissions: a “LS” era 4×4 unit I got for free and a early RWD unit I got for $50. I decided to tear into the 4×4 unit first as I wouldn’t be able to run it as is anyway so I wouldn’t do any harm.

I couldn’t get it to go in without assembling the rear half and buying this vice grip to hang it all from while it dropped in the case. Just the pump to go.
