Do you even lift?

I intended to buy a lift in the spring as I didn’t intend to work on cars in the cold anyway…but in early January there was a sale on the exact lift I I wanted to buy so I jumped on it. It happened to work out that it was ready for pickup at the freight depot on my 30th birthday. I borrowed a car trailer and headed into town to pick up the lift. The lift came nicely packaged all bolted together and wrapped up. They dropped it onto the car trailer with a forklift I tied it down and headed home.

We broke down the “pallet” on the trailer.
Then set the towers on furniture dollies using the engine crane.
Me and a couple friends were able to stand the towers up by hand, bolted the cross bar in, checked for plumb, then drilled 3/4″ holes and bolted it down.
Another day running equalizer cables, hydraulic lines, and power and BAM!
