The Shop Is Officially Done!!!

This past weekend, almost exactly 7 years after the building was put up I finally consider it to be officially done! My reasoning for saying that is for the first time since it started I no longer have any items remaining on my to do list. It could be argued it was done July 4th 2019 when we put up the last lift or maybe a bit earlier on April 25 the same year when we finished the ceiling but final trim work remained so I never considered it done.

I’ve had the rubber cove molding sitting in a box for over 4 years and for whatever reason thought I’d need help with it from someone who had done it before and the shop looked mostly OK without it but clearly was not done. Charlotte and I decided we would figure it out and get it done.

After watching a few videos Charlotte was feeling more confident than me so we started in a corner that will be mostly hidden and worked our way up. Charlotte did most the work, but I worked supply chain with the glue haha.

With the last section pictured above done, the shop build is complete and man that cove made a way bigger difference than I expected. Super happy with it.
